Kathryn is great. Our daughter is well prepared for the LSAT as a result of her work with Kathryn this summer. Her scores improved because she worked hard this summer on practice tests and in her meetings with Kathryn.

Kathryn demonstrates time and time again that she is not only an expert at preparing her students for testing, but also for life. What truly sets Kathryn apart from other test-prep companies is that she takes pride in creating personal relationships with her students to ensure they reach their goals. I was always able to communicate issues with Kathryn, both with the test and in my personal life that were keeping me stuck.
I was able to see my scores improve and find success because Kathryn helps explain and demonstrate the strategies presented in the prep books and practice tests, so that I could understand how to use the methods myself, rather than staring blankly at the explanations presented in the book, not fully absorbing the concepts. It was also a great help to have Kathryn work out problems with me, so that I could fully comprehend and utilize the strategies she taught me.

Kathryn was a phenomenal tutor who always gave helpful feedback and terrific advice. She made SAT prep interesting, less stressful, and almost even fun! She found a great balance between fun and work to keep me engaged. What helped me improve my score was her ability to adapt to my needs, her incredible (easy to remember) tricks, and the fact that she provided a safe space for me to make mistakes in, ultimately benefiting my success in the long run. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with life-long lessons. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a significantly-improved score.

Kathryn was very helpful. She helped make my scores increase very quickly. I recommend her so much that on a scale of 1-10, I give her a 111. Practicing using the strategies she taught me contributed most to my score improvement.

From the first session I felt so comfortable around Kathryn. She provides the perfect amount of fun and learning to make every session great. Kathryn is so smart, and knows exactly what she is doing, so learning from her was great.
I think the fact that we would go over every question I got wrong together, and would talk about what I did wrong, and what I can do better next time helped me improve my scores. Another thing that helped was doing official practice tests to get a feel of what it’s gonna be like.

Kathryn is an amazing tutor. She was always very patient, caring, and funny, but most importantly, she always made sure I understood the material so I can achieve my desired score on test day. Certain strategies that Kathryn taught me greatly contributed to my score improvement. Strategies such as always checking the shortest answer in the English section, managing time, and choosing D or J were most effective.

Kathryn helped me improve my score in a big way. She taught me a lot and helped me understand what I needed to know for the test. What helped me the most was the little tricks Kathryn taught me for the test; I knew a lot more than I did going into the last test.

Kathryn was very engaging and efficient in our sessions. She used positive reinforcement and took good care of the mental aspect of test taking. She also seemed well versed with the test material.
Kathryn’s list of strategies were the most useful because they taught me how to work quickly and efficiently. She kept repeating the same strategies with me which allowed me to recall them while I did practice tests.

Kathryn taught me that you can’t look at a score and evaluate yourself. You have to learn from your mistakes. She is very nice and always helpful.
[When I have to randomly guess,] D is always the answer!!!! :-) That got me a lot better grade. :-)

Kathryn was very nice, helpful, and funny. I also LOVE Bailey. The question banks, tutoring, emails, and the tips from the emails (prime numbers, input/output tables) all helped me become better.

Kathryn was excellent. By outlining the process, she was able to guide Reese and motivate her. Last minute study tips and calming tips were particularly beneficial. [What contributed the most to my daughter's score improvement?] Motivation to study.

I have been very happy with my tutor. Sessions were engaging and incredibly motivating. I felt a little rushed through the math section, but otherwise Kathryn took the time to answer all of my questions. Being motivated to take the practice tests and then discussing the questions that I had gotten wrong was essential to my improvement.

Kathryn’s straightforward approach to teaching tips and tricks to master the ACT took away a lot of the anxiety associated with taking this test. She was equal parts warmly encouraging and honest and frank about what Miles would need to do to be successful. I’m so glad I found Kathryn!
Private tutoring was the key to his success. If Miles had had to sit in a classroom this past summer for hours at a time, he would have hated studying even more hours for the ACT. Instead, ten two-hour sessions spread over a two-month period made the material digestible and he even had fun taking practice tests, trying to top his last score. It became a competition against himself in an entertaining, productive way.
