Kathryn answered all my questions and was very flexible. Reviewing my wrong answers on the practice tests with her helped me improve my scores.

Kathryn was a really good tutor and taught me a lot. She helped me on how to back check and get to my answers in a faster time. Learning the strategies of test taking and going over the sections helped me the most.

Kathryn taught me that you can’t look at a score and evaluate yourself. You have to learn from your mistakes. She is very nice and always helpful.
[When I have to randomly guess,] D is always the answer!!!! :-) That got me a lot better grade. :-)

Kathryn was very nice, helpful, and funny. I also LOVE Bailey. The question banks, tutoring, emails, and the tips from the emails (prime numbers, input/output tables) all helped me become better.

Kathryn was excellent. By outlining the process, she was able to guide Reese and motivate her. Last minute study tips and calming tips were particularly beneficial. [What contributed the most to my daughter's score improvement?] Motivation to study.

I have been very happy with my tutor. Sessions were engaging and incredibly motivating. I felt a little rushed through the math section, but otherwise Kathryn took the time to answer all of my questions. Being motivated to take the practice tests and then discussing the questions that I had gotten wrong was essential to my improvement.

Kathryn’s straightforward approach to teaching tips and tricks to master the ACT took away a lot of the anxiety associated with taking this test. She was equal parts warmly encouraging and honest and frank about what Miles would need to do to be successful. I’m so glad I found Kathryn!
Private tutoring was the key to his success. If Miles had had to sit in a classroom this past summer for hours at a time, he would have hated studying even more hours for the ACT. Instead, ten two-hour sessions spread over a two-month period made the material digestible and he even had fun taking practice tests, trying to top his last score. It became a competition against himself in an entertaining, productive way.
